Visual Wine&Calcco. A perfect pairing.

VISUAL WINE and CALCCO come together to create Vinsual. An idea full of hidden messages, of codes to decipher that oblige the user to interact with the product just acquired. It must be customized, given sense and sent to another person who will also search inside to find the meaning of all these actions.

Curiously, in a context full of new technologies and intelligent devices, Vinsual recovers one of the most traditional methods of communication. Direct communication, without intermediaries, from heart to heart. The same tools which keep us sometimes bound to a world that is exaggeratedly virtual, now help us to see other people directly.

Vinsual, in its own concept, establishes a continuous play between tradition and technology, between nature and the virtual world, between time and distance.

This whole combination of actions, ideas and feelings should be shown to the world by means of a presentation that really includes the essence of the project, and also explains conceptually and practically the use of such a new product.

Vinsual is a range of D.O.Ca Riojawines comprising of a young White, a red Crianza and a red Reserva.

The White and Crianza have a similar visual treatment. Their design portrays the essence of ancient correspondence, those letters that were eagerly awaited and read with passion.

Stamps and classic designs of an ancient Post Office appear on the label, the instruction booklet or the packaging of these wines which are presented to the world under the title of Winepost. These wines come within a post-box-shaped cylindrical case. It could not be otherwise. Everything is coherent and simple.

The packaging designed for the red Reserva is different and leads us to the ocean by depicting one of its most lyrical elements, the seashell that becomes the starting point for guiding us to the eye that sees everything and deciphers the hidden message. The bottle, sealed and wrapped in an elegant paper, holds a select and distinguished wine.

The seashell is perhaps the natural element that best symbolizes the communication between humanity and nature. The sound that we really hear on putting it to our ear is the sound of our own blood flowing, of our own source of life. When we are really listening to ourselves, popular symbology reminds us to the sea and its sounds.

Another example of how things are appearance, icons, symbols and representations. Curiously, these are some of the key elements which are the bases of graphic design and visual representation as we know them nowadays.

Vinsual is a wine to be watched. It is a message in a bottle, but this time instead of sending it to sea on an anonymous journey, with the whole of humanity as its possible receiver, the wine goes directly to the heart of the recipient we have chosen.

    Vinsual has got an “Anuaria Selection” in the category related to the best packaging in Anuaria Awards 2014.
    Other selected products in the same category belong to well-known firms, such as Zara or Marcilla, and also important institutions as Barcelona F.C.  Really good news!!!! Thanks a lot Anuaria.
